This might be the best kept secret in all of Humble.Just go once.You will go back, .... again and .. again.

Food was very good but they hardly gave meat in the dishes! At least the vegetables were fresh...

I've been eating at J.P. for about 30 years and I'm always impressed by their establishment on every aspect. Price, portion, quality and consistency. There should be a trophy named The Jade Palace Award given to restaurants who reflect their uncompromising diligence and dedication to perfection.

Old school Chinese food, just like the Chinese restaurants in NY. Pork fried rice and spare ribs are awesome! Quick and fast service too. Glad to have found this gem!

Update. Went 1/10/17 for lunch. More yummy food than we could eat. Today I got the beef & broccoli, really delicious! It came with great egg roll & soup too! Good food at a good price! 2016 Love the Mongolian Spicy Beef, it's the best in the area. Most Asian restaurants use too much corn syrup or sugars, this is not the case with Jade Palace's Mongolian Spicy Beef. I've also had Moo Goo Gai Pan, pretty good. I'm definitely staying a regular customer!

I have been going here for years and no matter what I always have to get their egg rolls. They are the best! All the food is good but I always go back just for their egg rolls and sweet and sour

I have enjoyed this restaurant since a young girl the owner and staff are so friendly! The food is terrific!

Ate their today. Food was horrible, mushy won ton soup. General Tso Chicken was old, hard, and disgusting, I think they recycle food, from the previous day. Told the waitress, she could care less. Beware, I'll never go back.

This was once a glorious place with premium food and HUGE egg rolls. Wish it was still as good as it's prime.

Amazing food and service

We used to love this place and would recommend it to everyone. The parking area is small. The last few times we went, we felt like they were changing food vendors or something changed with the food quality. One of my favorite dishes seemed to have a different texture and the usual great flavor wasn't there. I saw this after 2 or 3 times of this happening. I assumed once was just a different cook, than usual. During those 3 visits a total of 5 different people were with me and they all said the same types of things. We've pretty much taken it off our list of places to go, when we get together. I figure I'll try it again after a few months.

This place has really gone downhill. I haven't been in awhile and decided to go last night. Big mistake. The food was horrible. I wouldn't waste your time much less your money. Horrible food and service was terrible, very rude girl that answers the phone.

I had a wonton soup, large egg roll, BBQ ribs, and kung poa chicken. The soup and egg roll were great and the ribs were good too. The Kung poa chicken was not spice at all and the chicken was tough, other than that the dish was ok.

This place used to be the best, but now the food is not good at all. I have been going here for the past 19 years, but in the last four the quality of food has gone down. Today was the worst ever. Vegetables were brown, rice was cold, and chicken was frozen.

Rudest people in the restaurant business. If you ask for extra soy sauce with takeout they act like you asked for a key to the front door.

I have all ways loved this place. My mother worked at the Ming Palace next to the River Oaks Theater for over Thirty Years.This is the closest place to it that I have EVER eaten at. The only problem that I have is that I all ways eat fried rice. A few years ago, most of the veggies were taken out, because some regulars did not like them. The good thing is. they will put veggies in the combination fried rice, for just a little more money. KEEP up the good job, see you tonight. Thanks Gary

I have been eating here since the late 70’s, when I was a freshman at Humble High School, still owned by the same family. The old cooks and wait staff are gone and have been replaced several times over...used to be the only place to eat except for Pizza Hut, Hartz Chicken, Monterrey House, and Godfathers Pizza...a lot has changed, but the egg rolls and wonton soup are still among the best I have ever had, and I have been around the world several times over. Dinner for two is a good value for the $. Main Food is cooked upon order and still done with a Wok...we try to stop any and grab a bit whenever I am in Humble. Humble has grown to a point that it’s no longer recognizable as the place I grew up, it’s nice to see that Jade PalaceIs still here and reminds me of all the good things I remember about Humble.

Food and service always good. However, portions have gotten significantly smaller and $$ up.

Simple, consistent chinese/cantonese style comfort food we grew up with.

This place has been around a long time and anyone that lives in the NE Houston/Humble area knows about it. It was ok. The food was average, at best, and the egg rolls everyone talks about were a little undercooked (in my opinion) and bland. Maybe it was an off day for them. The staff was courteous and attentive. If you're in the area and want Chinese then it's a safe option but there are better choices, and a little cheaper too.

My lunch partner says the egg rolls were fantastic but my vegetable lo mein was just okay. Make no mistake, I ate it all but it could have been more flavorful, and I felt the noodles were below average. I did appreciate the large amount of vegetables in the dish though.

Just went there today got potstickers and a roach was on one of the potstickers 🥟! I’m so done and I thought they had the best egg rolls until now! I’m so disappointed

Best Chinese food I’ve had in decades. Especially the egg rolls, and special wonton soup

If I could give this place 1/2 star I would...Where to start, Drinks were expired and had no carbonation, food was horrible and packed with more celery then meat. The waitress could not understand anything we were asking for even though I repeated myself in a respectful way. Overall, worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to in Houston. I only came here because we were starving and close by and it had a 4 star rating. I GUARANTEE THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS NOT 4 STAR.

My family has eaten at this restaurant for a long time. I have yet to find wonton soup that compares to theirs. A great experience every time.

If I could give them zero stars I would! The service sucks here... every worker is sitting down playing on there phone. Yelled at us saying is that all with an attitude. Food was great but they need to work on how they present there self as workers. Gordon Ramsey would had shut this place down if he ever came here....!!!!

Very established place. Very accommodating staff, well run and great food, we always have extra to go.

The food quality and recipes have changed and not for the better. For the past 15 years we have driven from across Houston to come eat here but they have changed cooks or owners or something but the food definitely doesn't taste the same and we will not be back. Thank you for the great years of excellent Chinese food, you guys should've kept the old menu and recipes!

Menu prices wrong on social media. Double it. Dead fish in aquarium. Egg roll use to be their specialty. Small and not special. Stick to China River never this place.

My family has been traveling from Baytown to Humble for over 25 years just to eat here. The food is amazing, especially the huge home made egg rolls. We always order the "family for four" sometimes two of them depending how many people we have. PLENTY of food, the appetizers served alone constitute a meal. Love the service too. Sylvia has been our waitress since before I can remember and she's amazing! Love this place!!!
